ഇന്നസെന്റ് മലയാളികളുടെ സ്നേഹവും ആദരവും എത്രത്തോളം പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ ഐച്ഛൈകമായ അഭിനയനൈപുണ്യം നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിൽ എത്രത്തോളം സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തി എന്നതിന്റെ ആഴം അറിയാൻ ഈ പുസ്തകം വായിച്ചാൽ അറിവുള്ളതാണ്.
ഇതു വായിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഇന്നസെന്റ് നമ്മുടെ എല്ലാവരുടെയും മുൻപിൽ വന്ന് കഥ പറയുന്നതായി തോന്നും.
അപ്പോൾ നമ്മുക്ക് ഒരു കാര്യം ബോധ്യമാകും. ആ വൈഭവശാലിയുടെ അഭിനയമികവിനു കാരണം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ അമിളികൾ, സംഭവവികാസങ്ങൾ ഓർമ്മയിൽ മറക്കാതെ കുറിച്ചിടാൻ നിയോഗിതനായിരുന്നു. ആ കുറിച്ചിടലുകൾ ഇന്നസെന്റ് പോലും അറിയാതെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ബൗദ്ധികമണ്ഡലം ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെ തുടർച്ചയായി പരിശീലിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ആ അഭ്യസിപ്പിക്കലിന്റെ നീർപാച്ചിലിൽ, എതുതരം വികാരങ്ങളും, രസങ്ങളും ക്ഷണനേരത്തിൽ മുഖത്തും, ശരീരത്തിലും കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ ഇന്നസെന്റ് പ്രാപ്തനായി.
ഇത്തരം ഭാവപ്രകടനങ്ങളുടെ അകമ്പടികൾ നമ്മുടെ മനസ്സിൽ ഉളവാക്കിയ പ്രഭാവം ആണ്, നേരത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ, ഇന്നസെ ന്റ്നമ്മുടെ എല്ലാവരുടെയും മുൻപിൽ വന്ന് കഥ പറയുന്നതായ ഭ്രമം ഉളവാക്കുന്നത്.

Nice overview. I have lost respect for him as a person after the Thilakan-Amma fiasco. Nonetheless, still a notable actor.
ReplyDeleteI am fortunate that this blog could grab your attention. Inorder to realise my comment, ask any of your friends, who read this book, on the effect it creates while reading. You could see his expressions on each word. During final pages of the book, Innocent admits one of his mischevies he did to his friend, just because he did not bring him Vada. You may hate that part. However, we will soon realize that, that is what is making him to act a villian's role so easily. Thanks once again.
